Windsurfing: Shoreham Wind Direction: SSW Wind Stength: Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Rushed back to Shoreham after work expecting the wind to be honking and
waves building on the dropping tide. But arrived 6pm to find lots of people
in wetsuits standing around on the beach (never a good sign...) and only a
marginal breeze. Grrrr!!!
Ho-hum well it was sunny and still windy enough to plane so I rigged up the
5.8 and got back out there. Shouldn't have bothered. 1 crap hour of
underpowered only-just-planing at the start then not-planing-at-all at the
end. The only good thing about the session was being reminded how amazing
the 5.8 Wedge is. It seems to stay powered up and keep the board on the
plane through the biggest of lulls when it feels like you are hardly moving
at all, and yet remains incredibly light, well-balanced and not at all
back-handed even when well to over-powered.
It's absolutely howling right now and I'm at work. :(
But is forecast to be just as windy tomorrow. :)
